The school will close its doors on July 15th, reopening in September as the Hucknall Lane site of The Bulwell Academy, which will have its other site at Highbury Vale.

An ex-student at Henry Mellish School is helping to design and build the new Bulwell Academy, which is opening in September 2009 to replace his former school.
Jack Handley (19), from Bulwell, works for Nottingham-based Caunton Engineering, the construction firm providing the steelworks for The Bulwell Academy.
